ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Rochester LGBTQ+ Together kicked off ROC Pride Month this year, with their second annual Pride Day at the Beach Ontario Beach Park on Saturday. It’s the 50th anniversary of Pride celebrations in Rochester.
The event featured arts & crafts, a community organization fair, music & entertainment, tabletop & lawn games, and a 50/50 raffle. People wore their swim gear, and had a picnic lunch while showing support for the LGBTQ community.
Rochester Pride Festival returns on Saturday, July 16 to Cobbs Hill Park, following two years of pandemic cancelations. You can find out more here.
