Live Nation to require vaccine or COVID-19 test for concerts starting Oct. 4
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC/AP) — You will soon need a vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test to get into some of your favorite concerts.
Live Nation made the announcement that they will be requiring all artists and fans to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter their concerts starting Oct. 4.
All employees will be required to get vaccinated before working live events or in offices.
The head of the company says he plans to follow the model taken by Chicago’s Lollapalooza earlier this year.
Chicago health officials on Thursday reported 203 cases of COVID-19 connected to Lollapalooza, casting it as a number that was anticipated and not yet linked to any hospitalizations or deaths.
