Local Baseball States Roundup: McQuaid to defend title three years later

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – (5) McQuaid Jesuit took down (8) Massapequa, 7-6, to advance to the 2022 Class AA State Championship Game. The Knights will aim to repeat as State champs after winning it all in 2019, the last year baseball held a State tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

McQuaid will face off against the 3-seed Fayetteville-Manlius in the title game on Saturday at 10 a.m. It’ll be played at Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton.
