SOUTH BRISTOL, N.Y. (WHEC) — Local Olympic Gold Medalist Chris Lillis returned to Bristol Mountain for a meet and greet on Wednesday.
The whole U.S. freestyle aerials ski team is in town ahead of the national championships, which will also be held at Bristol Mountain, this weekend.
Lillis and fellow Olympic medalists Justin Schoenefeld, Ashley Caldwell, and Megan Nick met with Bristol athletes on Wednesday.
Here’s “Mikey’s Jump,” a site on @Bristolmt dedicated to honoring Chris Lillis’ late brother Michael, who was the youngest of the three. ??

Lillis won gold in the mixed team aerials in Beijing last month and he’s not taking much of a break. He let everyone he could try on his gold medal, which he told News10NBC Sports Anchor Jackson Roberts he’s not exactly sure where he’ll keep.
