Local schools to host racial equity initiatives webcast
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Superintendents from some of the local public schools in Monroe County will release the public webcast on Thursday, January 20 at noon.
The central focus will be about the focus of school districts on putting an end to racism and discrimination in schools.
The webcast is pre-recorded, but questions can still be submitted to panelists through the live chat during the noon livestream. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
Discussion will be about the ROC2Change Students Summits on Race and Racial Equity Network. It will be moderated by East Irondequoit CSD Superintendent Mary Grow. Panelists include Greece CSD Superintendent Kathy Graupman and West Irondequoit CSD Superintendent Dr. Aaron Johnson.
