ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Seneca Park Zoo admission will be $1 per person for people of low-income backgrounds, starting on June 24.

The zoo joins the George Eastman House Museum and the Rochester Museum & Science Center to offer a discounted rate for some. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello signed legislation to reduce the cost for families who meet certain income requirements.

It’s part of the national program, "Museums for All." Seneca Park Zoo is the first zoo in New York State to be included in the program.

You can present a snap or EBT Card and a valid photo ID at the zoo admission booth for $1 admission, per guest, for up to four guests.
