Main Street Construction Project temporarily closes westbound left turn lane

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A project to transform a portion of Main Street will impact drivers downtown starting Monday, Sept. 27 through the end of November.

The westbound left turn lane onto Circle Street at East Main Street is now closed and detoured. The detour will prevent westbound traffic from backing up onto North Goodman Street.

Circle Street will remain open to traffic for vehicles turning left or right onto North Goodman Street.

Drivers should expect delays and changes to the normal traffic pattern.
