SCOTTSVILLE, N.Y. (WHEC) — Randy Bratcher, 34 of Dansville, was arrested for drunk driving after a truck crashed through a home in Scottsville on Monday. No one was injured.
Monroe County deputies said the truck went all the way through the house on Rochester Street at around 1:30 a.m. and ended up in a neighbor’s driveway.
Bratcher, the accused driver of the truck, was charged with DWI and was issued several other traffic tickets. Deputies said he was the only person in the truck.
We spoke to Gianluca D’angi, who lives in the home that was damaged.
“I had to rush downstairs to make sure everyone was ok," D’angi said. "I ran, I saw my mom. Her room hot hit pretty much. She got hit in the head with the door but luckily she’s ok. So that was my first sign of relief. And then I saw my grandma. Then I had to rush back upstairs to make sure my sister was ok. Luckily all of us were ok.”
