Man dead after car crash on I-390

GATES, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 30-year-old man died at the scene after getting struck by multiple cars on I-390 northbound in Gates.
Deputies and troopers responded to the call just after 10 p.m. Monday and said all the drivers who hit the man stopped and are cooperating with investigators. However, at this time it appears to be a tragic accident. Officials also say speed and alcohol were not factors.
All lanes of I-390 northbound in Gates are shut down Monday night as a result, as the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash.
