Man has life-threatening injuries, woman hurt after Genesee County motorcycle crash

STAFFORD, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man and a woman are both in the hospital after deputies say a motorcycle hit a dump truck in Genesee County Friday afternoon.
It happened at around 12:35 p.m. on Route 33 near the Seven Springs Road intersection in the Town of Stafford.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office said the motorcyclist, Dana McGill, 62, of Batavia was headed east on Route 33 when he didn’t stop for a red light and hit the side of a dump truck that was headed north on Seven Springs Road. Carrie Hensley, 44, of Batavia was on the motorcycle as well. McGill had had serious injuries and had to be flown to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. Hensley was taken to Strong by Mercy Flight ground ambulance. The truck driver was not hurt.
Deputies say charges are pending.
