Man killed in ATV crash in Steuben County

URBANA, N.Y. (WHEC) – One man was killed and his brother seriously injuried in an ATV crash in Steuben County.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call Monday off Reservoir Hill Road in the Town of Urbana. They found two men and the ATV down a steep embankment about 100 feet below the trail surface.

Deputies say 59-year-old Michael Drake was killed. He was a passenger on the vehicle which was being driven by his brother, 62-year-old Henry Drake. The older Drake was treated by deputies at the scene, and later rope-lifted and then airlifted to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
