Man pulls into RFD parking lot with gunshot wound

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man pulled into Rochester Fire Department’s Monroe Avenue parking lot with a gunshot wound to his leg on Saturday night.
Police say upon their arrival they found a 27-year-old, non-city resident, who was shot at least one time in the lower body. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with an injury that is considered non-life-threatening.
The victim reported that the shooting happened on Joseph Avenue, but police are still trying to verify the exact location where it took place.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crimestoppers at 585-423-9300.
