Man rescued from burning car

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester first responders rescued a man from a burning car in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Goodman Street and Central Park. Upon arrival, RPD saw a car on fire with a person trapped inside.
Police say the fire department was able to put the fire out and rescue the 24-year-old male driver. The driver was then transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is in guarded condition, according to police.
It is unknown exactly what caused the accident, and no tickets have been issued.
