Man shot on Rochester’s west side

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating after a man was shot on Rochester’s west side Friday night.
Police say it happened at around 6 p.m. on Dove Street, which is near Driving Park Avenue and Dewey Avenue.
Officers responded to a call for a man shot at around the 100 block of Dove Street, but when they arrived, the 26-year-old man who had been shot had already been taken to Rochester General Hospital by a private vehicle.
Police say he was shot at least once.
