Man shot while sitting in parked vehicle near Reynolds Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police said a 26-year-old man is in the hospital after he was shot while sitting in his parked vehicle on Friday morning.

The Rochester Police Department said multiple bullets went through the vehicle on Reynolds Street and Cady Street and the man was shot at least once in the upper body. An ambulance took him to Strong Hospital for treatment and he is expected to survive.

RPD responded to the call just before 3 a.m. No one is in custody and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
