Man suffering gunshot wound checks self into hospital

GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — A gunshot victim who has at least one gunshot wound checked himself into Unity Hospital in Greece Sunday evening.

According to authorities, Rochester Police were dispatched to Unity Hospital in Greece for a report of a walk-in gunshot victim. The victim, a 30-year-old male from the City of Rochester, stated he had been shot in Rochester in the area of Glide Street. He was driven to Unity Hospital on his own accord.

In addition to responding to the hospital where the victim was, officers also responded to Glide Street to investigate.

Police are still investigating where this incident occurred. It is still an ongoing investigation.
