Man traumatically injured after hit-and-run on Genesee Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man experienced traumatic injuries after a hit-and-run Saturday afternoon.

Just prior to 2 p.m., Rochester Police Officers responded to Frost Avenue between Genesee Street and Epworth Street for a report of a person hit by a car.

On arrival, officers located a 57-year-old male with visible traumatic injuries. He was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for evaluation where is condition is currently considered stable.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the vehicle that hit the man left the scene.

The investigation is continuing, there are no suspects in custody at this time, and anyone with information is asked to please call 911.
