Man treated by ambulance crews after crash on Empire Boulevard

UPDATE: The original story said one person was hospitalized. That person was treated by ambulance crews but not hospitalized.

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — One person was treated by Penfield Ambulance Crews as a precaution after they were involved in a serious crash on Empire Boulevard.

The crash happened on Tuesday just before midnight. There were many first responders on the scene and the car wound up in an embankment.

The driver told deputies he saw a small animal in the road and swerved to miss it. No one was taken to the hospital.
