Man wanted for armed home burglary in Irondequoit

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WHEC) — Irondequoit Police are looking for a man wanted for an armed home invasion.
Police say that on May 22, 2022, Joseph D. Krug, 27, invaded a residence in Irondequoit. During the invasion, Krug was in possession of a small silver handgun which is currently outstanding. He is charged with burglary in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, and grand larceny.
Krug also has warrants with MCSO, Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Webster Police Department, and New York State Police.
Police believe that Krug may have shaved his head after the home invasion robbery.
