Marshall Boxes honored with NYS historic business designation

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A local business has been honored with a New York State historic business designation.

Marshall Boxes is a multi-generational, family-owned business that provides custom packing services.

Senator Jeremy Cooney honored marshall boxes Tuesday for the for decades-long investment and service it has provided to the Rochester area.

"I’m floored that we finally have formal recognition for what many people have known and current and formal employees know, we are a family business that cares about our local community and cares about our neighborhood," said Jeff Skuse, President at Marshall Boxes.

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation created this registry in 2020 to recognize businesses who have made a significant impact on the community.
