MCSO attempting to identify Pines of Perinton gunpoint robbery suspects

PERINTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying two suspects in a robbery that happened in the Pines of Perinton Tuesday night.
It happened at around 11:40 p.m. on Honeysuckle Terrace. Deputies say two 18 to 25-year-old men, both holding guns and wearing hooded sweatshirts, dark pants and face coverings approached a woman who was sitting in her car and told her they wanted her money and the car.
They got inside the car and drove off and the woman went to a neighbor’s house to call 911.
Deputies say they found her car, abandoned and still running with the keys inside, a short time later on Balsam Lane.
The Sheriff’s Office is upping patrols in the area and is asking anyone with any information to call 911.
