MCSO: Teenager arrested after stealing tow truck

HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A teenager was arrested after deputies say he stole a tow truck.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the teen stole a truck from Murray’s Towing on Clay Road in Henrietta just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
The truck was equipped with a GPS tracking unit and sheriff’s deputies found it moving on Pittsford-Victor Road near Woodcliff Drive in Perinton.
They were able to intercept the truck and take the driver into custody.
The 17-year-old is charged with grand larceny, and released on an appearance ticket.
