ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — For some families in Western New York, there’s even more of a reason to celebrate this New Year’s Day.
Rochester General Hospital is reporting two babies born.
According to the hospital spokeswoman, the first baby arriving into the world happened at 2:44 a.m. and the second baby was born at 4:22 a.m.
Baby boy Fashanu, the second baby of 2022, was born to parents Oluwaseun and Josephine Fashanu of Rochester. He came in at 7 pounds and 15.9 ounces.
Baby Fashanu’s dad is a cardiology fellow at RGH. This is the couple’s first child, says the hospital.
Mom, dad and baby are doing well.
Welcome to Rochester and the world, Baby Fashanu!
