ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are the only safety duo in the league with three interceptions apiece, part of the league-leading eleven that the Bills have.

Things are clicking on all cylinders for the number one defense in the league and Hyde hopes that can remain the same when they go up against the first overall pick from this past NFL draft, Trevor Lawrence.

“We’re going against a young rookie quarterback that hasn’t a lot of defenses,” Hyde said. “Obviously we want to go out there and try to confuse him. Whether it’s a vet or a rookie, you want to try to confuse him. That’s something we’ve been preparing for but at the end of the day, we still got to play our defense. I have to get lined up to execute well, we’ll do that.”

Buffalo kicks off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at 1 p.m. on CBS.
