ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Milo the Bat Dog and his humans with the Rochester Red Wings are raising money for a doggone good cause.

The Red Wings Friday announced a partnership with Flower City Group, which will donate $50 for every bat the Golden retrieves this season.

The team will also hold "meet-and-pet" events on May 21 and Sept. 17 where a $10 donation will allow fans to meet Milo and get a photo with him.

The money will go to the Bivona Child Advocacy Center and the Society for the Protection and Care of Children. Their goal is to raise $10,000.

Milo will retrieve bats at the April 12, May 21, June 25, July 30, Aug. 13 and Sept. 17 games this season.
