Monroe County Parks golf courses to open

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County’s three golf courses will be opening for the season.

Starting Tuesday, April 11, Genesee Valley Park, Churchville Park, and Durand Eastman Park golf courses will be open to the public.

The Monroe County Department of Parks oversees and operates three exceptional golf courses =situated within the bounds of its Parks.

Genesee Valley Park offers two exceptionally well maintained 18 hole golf courses, an all-grass driving range, large-scale practice putting green, and a chipping/pitching green. To book a Tee time, please visit their website.

Churchville Golf Course features 27 holes of championship golf. The 18 hole East course is a par 72 that stretches out from 4,967 yards to 6,566 yards. To book a Tee time, please visit their website.

Durand Eastman Park has 18 holes which are some of the most unique in Rochester. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr, Durand Eastman Golf Course features an 18 hole championship golf course in a park setting. The course stretches out from 5,198 yards to 6,033 yards.
