ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The county Friday gave us a better look at the proposed Seneca Park Zoo project.
It was announced Thursday night during the State of the County Address.
The $121 million project would include a new front entry complex and conference center and the largest indoor tropics complex of its kind in the whole country.
A 220,000-gallon aquarium would also be installed.
The funding would come from the county, the state and the zoo society.
County Executive Adam Bello will soon be taking this plan to the legislature for approval.
