ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A "Code Blue" has been in effect since November and Monroe County is reminding people because of the snowstorm.
The county wants to make sure that anyone who doesn’t have a warm place to stay can get shelter, especially in the midst of a major winter storm.
People can go to 210 W Main St. for warmth and shelter. Capacity has been increased ahead of the storm.
If you or a loved one needs emergency housing, you can call 585-442-1742. There is an after hours team receiving phone calls at that number.
