Monroe County reports 68 opioid overdoses in August

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There were 68 reported opioid overdoses in Monroe County last month, nine of which were fatal.

In August of 2020, there were 49 opioid overdoses and eight were fatal.

So far, there have been 468 opioid overdoses in Monroe County this year, 91 of which were fatal.
