Motorcyclist dies in crash on Mt. Read Boulevard, road re-opens

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV Wednesday night.

It happened on Mt. Read Boulevard near Lexington Avenue at around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Both vehicles were headed south at the time of the crash.

The victim was a man in his 20s, who died at the scene.

Police say they are still investigating the cause of the crash. Mt. Read Boulevard has re-oped to traffic.

News10NBC has a crew at the scene that saw what looked like police administering a breathalyzer test, but police later said it does not appear that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
