Ms. Pac-Man and three others inducted in World Video Game Hall of Fame

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Strong Museum announced the four video games for 2022 that joined the World Video Game Hall of Fame. The games are:
- Ms. Pac-Man
- Dance Dance Revolution
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Sid Meier’s Civilization
The four games were chosen out of 12 nominees announced on March 17. Experts from the National Selection Advisory Committee and people who voted on the Strong Museum website decided the winners. The 12 nominees were:
• Assassin’s Creed
• Candy Crush Saga
• Dance Dance Revolution
• The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
• Minesweeper
• Ms. Pac-Man
• PaRappa the Rapper
• Resident Evil
• Rogue
• Sid Meier’s Civilization
• Words with Friends
The winners announced on Thursday will be in the museum’s e-Game Revolution exhibit, along with the past winners.
