New mural unveiled at East High

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A new mural at East High School in Rochester honors local and international civil rights icons.
It features Constance Mitchell, the first African American woman to be elected to the Monroe County Board of Supervisors, Minster Franklin D. Florence, the founder of civil rights group FIGHT and Muslim minister and human rights activist Malcolm X.
City leaders will meet on Thursday afternoon to celebrate the new mural.
