NY State holds Primary Elections on Tuesday, find out who is on your ballot
ROCHESTER, N.Y (WHEC) — The New York State Primary Election Day is on Tuesday. You can learn more about voting on the website of the Monroe County Board of Elections.
Polls are open from 6am to 9pm. You can find your polling site here.
On the ballot of registered Democrats, Gov. Kathy Hocul, Thomas Suozzi, and Jumaane Williams are choices for the Democratic candidate for governor. On the ballot for registered Republicans, Rob Astorino, Andrew Giuliani, Harry Wilson, and Lee Zeldin are choices for the Republican candidate for governor.
You can find out who is on your ballot on through New York State’s website by choosing your party registration and district. Tuesday’s primary is for the governor’s race, state assembly race, and for party candidates as judges.
So far, more than 4,000 people have voted across Monroe County during early voting between June 18 through June 26.
General Election Day is on November 8.
