On National Voter Registration Day, Harris encourages all eligible Americans to register to vote
(WHEC) — Sept. 28 is National Voter Registration Day and Vice President Kamala Harris visited a registration drive at George Mason University.
She elbow bumped students working to register new voters.
The right to vote in free and fair elections, and to have our vote counted, is a sacred and fundamental part of our nation’s character.

The vice president also met with students to talk about the importance of passing legislation to protect the right to vote including the Freedom to Vote Act and John Lewis’ Voting Rights Act.
