Pedestrian hit by car in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 30-year-old male was hit by a car Sunday afternoon, police say.

According to Rochester PD, around 1:51 p.m., officers responded to the area of Orange Street and Grape Street for a report of a car accident involved a pedestrian that was struck.

When police arrived, they found a car and a pedestrian that had been hit by the car.

The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say no tickets have been issued at this time.
