Penfield Bar-Bill Tavern one step closer to opening

PENFIELD, N.Y. (WHEC) — Buffalo’s Bar-Bill Tavern, known for its chicken wings, is one step closer to opening up another location in the Greater Rochester area.

This week, the Penfield Town Board approved the business to open up a location on Empire Boulevard, where the old MacGregor’s was. That restaurant closed last year.

The family that owns Bar-Bill Tavern is hoping the Penfield location will be up and running this summer. It would be the third location. The other is in East Aurora, which is right outside the Buffalo area.
