ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Dominic Pezzola’s court date originally set for Tuesday has been moved to February 2.
The U.S. government says he was in the crowd during the riots on January 6, 2021. They say Pezzola used a stolen police riot shield to smash his way into the Capitol.
Pezzola has already pleaded not guilty before and has tried to get out of jail, arguing he hasn’t been able to talk to his lawyers easily or get evidence.
A federal judge said he didn’t have any new evidence that would change his mind.
