Plans for new Victor-Farmington library revealed

VICTOR, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Victor-Farmington library is ready to present the plan for a brand new 24,000 square-foot facility!

It would cost about $16 million and the tax bill for the new library would be about $20 per month.

The new building would have room for more books, a cafe, an outdoor reading garden, a teaching kitchen, a used book sale room and a community room!

Information sessions for the proposal are scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 15 at Farmington Town Hall and 7 p.m. on March 30 at Victor Town Hall. The vote is set for May 17.
