Pluta Cancer Foundation and Comedy at the Carlson holding ‘Laughter is the Best Medicine’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Pluta Cancer Foundation believes "Laughter is the Best Medicine" and it’s holding a comedy show fundraiser by the name.

The third annual show will be at Comedy at the Carlson Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The show features Sara Shipley, winner of last year’s Rochester’s Funniest Person Contest and Todd Youngman, who’s known for his quirky sense of humor and storytelling style.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online. All proceeds will go to the Pluta Cancer Foundation, which helps ease the financial burden for cancer patients and their families, and the Pluta Integrative Oncology & Wellness Center.
