Police: 1 seriously hurt in double shooting on Genesee Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police are searching for a shooter in connection to a double shooting that hurt two people, including one seriously Wednesday morning.
Police went to the scene on Genesee Street at Frost Avenue just before 12:15 a.m. When they got there, they say they found a man and a teen girl both with gunshot wounds.
News10NBC spoke to Yazeed Ali, who said he witnessed the shooting. He asked us to not show his face on camera. He said he saw people get out of a car and then begin yelling and fighting before seeing a man started shooting.
"Killing a human is like nothing, it’s sad, it’s sad," Ali said.

The two were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. The girl is expected to survive while the man has life-threatening injuries.
Police did not mention any arrests.
