Police: 17-year-old found shot on Mt. Read Boulevard

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 17-year-old is injured after police say he was shot Tuesday night.

A call for a person shot on the 900 block of Mt. Read Boulevard came in at around 6:45 p.m., but police say they are still working to determine if the boy was actually shot there.

Police say the victim is from Rochester and that he was shot in the lower body, but did not specify his condition.

They say they believe it was an isolated incident.
