Police: 3 men arrested for robbing 8 jewelry stores

GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — Three men are under arrest for a series of jewelry store robberies throughout Monroe and Ontario Counties.

Several area police agencies held a news conference Friday detailing a series of crimes that ranged from suspects running out of stores without paying, to confrontations with store employees, including one that resulted in a victim being run over by a car.

Thursday, Greece Police announced three men are facing felony charges, accused of robbing a jewelry store in Greece.

Investigators say Jaquan Simpson, Zeaquan Walker, and Kashmiere Coats stole more than $14,000 in jewelry from Charisma Jewelers on West Ridge Road.

They’re also charged with a January 15 robbery at the Marketplace Mall and the January 26 robbery in Pittsford.

In all, police say 8 jewelry stores were hit.
