OGDEN, N.Y. (WHEC) — Eight people were involved in a two-vehicle crash in Ogden Friday evening, but police say luckily none of them were seriously injured.

It happened at the intersection of Washington Street and Westside Drive just before 4:30 p.m.

Chief Chris Mears said a truck with two people inside didn’t yield the right of way at a stop sign and collided with a van that was headed north on Washington Street.

The van had four group home residents and two staff members inside.

At one point, News10NBC crews saw at least four ambulances responding, and two vehicles on their sides, off of the road.
