Police are investigating after a man was shot in Geneva

GENEVA, N.Y. (WHEC) —The Geneva Police Department is investigating after a man was shot early Sunday morning.
Police say the shooting happened at 2:00 a.m. on Linden Street.
A man was taken by private car to the Geneva General Hospital Emergency Department with a gun shot wound to the upper body and then was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
According to officers, before the shooting, there was a disturbance at the Hog Wallow Tavern and police believe this was not a random act and there is no cause for public alarm.
