Police: Crash sends car into pole

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating a crash that sent a car into a pole on Portland Avenue Monday night.

It happened just before 7:30 p.m. near Rochester General Hospital Drive.

Police say a car got side-swiped, which sent it straight into a utility pole. The utility pole broke in half, with the top nearly coming rest on a nearby building.

No one was hurt according to police.
