Police identify dirt bike rider killed in crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A driver is facing a drunk driving charge in connection to a deadly crash involving a dirt bike.
The crash happened on Bay Street near Dorset Street at around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say Michael Rizzo, 36, of Rochester, was on a dirt bike, facing east on Bay Street when he was hit from behind by a Lexus driven by David Matthews, 49, also of Rochester.
Rizzo died at the scene. Matthews was not hurt.
Police say the dirt bike was not moving when Rizzo was hit, and the dirt bike did not have headlights or taillights.
Police charged Matthews with driving while intoxicated.
