Police investigating after shot fired into Lyell Ave restaurant

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating after a shot was fired into a restaurant in Rochester on Monday.

It happened at around 1:45 p.m. on the 140 block of Lyell Avenue.

Police say they received a call for shots fired, and when they responded, they found that a gun was fired into the El Sazon restaurant.

There were no customers inside when it happened, according to police.

Police say, at this time, they don’t know who did it.
