Police investigating alleged gunpoint rape on Lexington Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating an alleged rape at gunpoint that happened early Saturday morning in Rochester.
Rochester Police say a woman in her 20s was walking down Lexington Avenue when she was approached from behind by someone who pointed a handgun at her, led her into a backyard and raped her.
It happened on the 300 block of Lexington Avenue at around 12:20 a.m.
The Rochester Police Locust Club included the incident in its “Weekend Violence Report” Monday.

The Rochester Police Department told News10NBC Monday afternoon it is “currently/actively working on this case. There are no updates at this time.”
