Police investigating double shooting near Dewey Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating a double shooting on Magee Avenue near Dewey Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene for a call that a man had been shot at around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. While they were investigating, two victims arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.
Police say one of them is a 32-year-old Rochester man who was shot at least once in the lower body and the other is a 24-year-old Rochester man who was shot at least once in the upper body.
Both are listed in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
This is the fourth shooting to happen in Rochester on Wednesday. One prompted a lockout at the Aquinas Institute just two blocks from this shooting, a deadly shooting on Lamont Place and another double shooting Wednesday evening near North Clinton Avenue just a few hours before this one.
In total, that makes six shooting victims in Rochester Wednesday.
