Police: Man dies from injures after shooting on Thomas Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police say a Rochester man is has died from his injuries after he was shot shortly after midnight Thursday.
Officers went to the scene on Thomas Street near Alphonse Street for a report of a man who was shot. When they got to the scene, RPD found 43-year old Jose Surrino had been shot at least one time.
He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with critical injuries, but he succumbed to them Thursday afternoon and was pronounced dead.
Police have made no arrests but they do say it appears to have been a targeted attack.
